Alexandra and Bill were the finalists of the Swedish Thermodynamics championship quiz. In a crucial tie-breaker, they were asked to say something about exergonic and endergonic reactions. Alexandra said: ‘In an exergonic reaction, energy is released from the system to the surroundings’. Bill said: ‘In an endergonic reaction, ∆G is negative’./Alexandra och Bill var finalister i Sveriges termodynamiska mästerskapsquiz. I en utslagsfråga blev de ombedda att säga något om exergona och endergona reaktioner. Alexandra sa: ”I en exergon reaktion avges energi från systemet till omgivningen”. Bill sa: ”I en endergon reaktion är ∆G negativt.” (1p)
